To promote a major art exhibition, PSL approached Face to develop launch collateral to create awareness of the event.
PSL is an independent, artist-led contemporary art space. Based in Leeds city centre, PSL stages exhibitions of modern and contemporary art across all art forms, and shows work by artists from the UK and abroad.
PSL wanted to introduce the work of international sound and light artist Hans Peter Kuhn to Leeds in an exhibition of 40 stunning, large scale, panoramic images by Berlin based photographer Gerhard Kassner. ‘Licht auf Licht’ [Light on Light] shows Kuhn’s work from around the world, transforming urban landscapes and industrial architecture, beautifully captured by Kassner into photographic artworks in their own right.
Face’s launch collateral was designed to compliment the artist’s unique style and was applied across exhibition branding, graphics, literature and advertising to ensure the event’s profile was maximised.
